2010 Volkswagen Eos gets an “Exclusive Package”

German car manufacturer Volkswagen just announced that it will soon be offering an exclusive equipment package for the recently released Eos. 2010 VW EOSDubbed a “Volkswagen Exclusive”, the package for the coupe-convertible will include black “piano lacquer” trim inlays, two-tone nappa leather combinations, and graceful alloy wheels.

What completes this stylish package is really the 18-inch alloy wheel deal. The wheels will be offered in three design options: the “Veracruz” and the “Samarkland” which will both have a sterling silver finish, and the “Chicago” which will have anthracite gloss. The car will also be offered in all engine-variants from the 103rd week. The 1.4L TSA diesel engine will be available by the 118th week. Prices of the VW EO begins at £34,350.

The Volkswagen Eos line was first introduced in 2006. Officially, it’s the successor of the VW Cabrio, with much of its design details coming from that line. The 2010 version rivals the Chrysler convertible. It’s available in 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed DSG. The emission of the car submits to Euro5 standards.

Recently, an aerodynamic kit was also produced for the Eos. The package was supposed to enhance the car’s looks. It included a sleeker front apron, redesigned side sills, and a different boot-lid spoiler. Most consumers preferred the Eos GT Sport over this kit, though.  The Eos GT sport received a lowered chassis and a snazzy black rooftop finish. It also sported heated front leather seats, and a 3-spoke leather steering wheel.

The GT Sport of the Eo line comes with a EU33,075 price tag.
